Theoretical Breakthroughs and Practical Guidelines for Rural Tourism Development — A Review of Research on the Co-governance of Vulnerability and Resilience and High-Quality Development of Rural Tourism

Guo Wei

Abstract: Rural tourism serves as an important pathway for activating the value of rural resources and functions as a key bridge promoting urban-rural integration. This book establishes a “vulnerability-resilience” framework to identify the weaknesses and risk points in rural tourism development, addressing a gap in existing research that tends to prioritize single-dimensional analyses over systemic coordination. It offers new theoretical perspectives and analytical tools for rural tourism research, providing actionable guidance for the high-quality development of rural tourism.
